This article mainly introduces the usage tutorial for the independent IP purchased from WADesk. WADesk is a multi-account client for WhatsApp, which also includes features such as intelligent account nurturing, local data backup, mass messaging, group message monitoring, and more. This time, we will introduce the independent IP settings using the VMess proxy method, and in the future, we will also support the Shadowsocks protocol. We look forward to WADesk bringing more new features!
After purchasing a dedicated IP, you may receive a long string of character codes like this:
dm1lc3M6Ly9leUoySWpvaU1pSXNJbkJ6SWpvaVhIVTNaamhsWEhVMU5tWmtYSFUyWkRSaVhIVTRZbVExWEhVNE1qZ3lYSFUzTUdJNU1ERWlMQ0poWkdRaU9pSXhOVFF1TWpBMUxqRTFOUzR4T0RjaUxDSndiM0owSWpvaU9EUTBNeUlzSW1sa0lqb2lOamxrTXpZMFpXTXRNbU5sTUMwME16RmxMV0UxT0dFdE1UbGtOVGt4T0RRNVl6WmtJaXdpWVdsa0lqb2lNQ0lzSW01bGRDSTZJblJqY0NJc0luUjVjR1VpT2lKdWIyNWxJaXdpYUc5emRDSTZJaUlzSW5CaGRHZ2lPaUlpTENKMGJITWlPaUlpZlE9PQ0K
It is actually text encoded in base64. You need to decode this string. Decoding can be done using online tools, such as https://www.base64decode.org/. (We know the decoding process is simple but a bit tedious. In the future, WADesk will optimize this and automate the decoding and extraction process.)
The decoding process is as follows:
After decoding, a long string starting with vmess:// is obtained in the bottom input box. We need to decode further by copying the long string after vmess://:
Note: Do not include vmess://
eyJ2IjoiMiIsInBzIjoiXHU3ZjhlXHU1NmZkXHU2ZDRiXHU4YmQ1XHU4MjgyXHU3MGI5MDEiLCJhZGQiOiIxNTQuMjA1LjE1NS4xODciLCJwb3J0IjoiODQ0MyIsImlkIjoiNjlkMzY0ZWMtMmNlMC00MzFlLWE1OGEtMTlkNTkxODQ5YzZkIiwiYWlkIjoiMCIsIm5ldCI6InRjcCIsInR5cGUiOiJub25lIiwiaG9zdCI6IiIsInBhdGgiOiIiLCJ0bHMiOiIifQ==
From the decoding results this time, we can find:
- add refers to the address IP host number, which is parsed as 154.205.155.187.
- port refers to the port number, which is parsed as 8443.
- id refers to the user ID, which is parsed as 69d364ec-2ce0-431e-a58a-19d591849c6d.
Next, on the main interface of WADesk, the left side displays the list of logged-in WhatsApp accounts. Select a WhatsApp account that requires using an independent IP proxy, then move the mouse over the profile picture to display the information box below.
In the information box, click "Settings" next to the "Fingerprint" status.
After clicking, the "Edit Fingerprint" settings interface will open.
To configure a dedicated IP proxy, you need to set it up in the "Proxy Configuration" section
- Proxy Type: VMess
- Host and Port: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxxxx
- User ID: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
Click "Confirm," a prompt box appears below, then click "Confirm"
After confirmation, the WhatsApp page will immediately refresh and reload using the new IP environment. When we hover the mouse over this account, the tooltip displayed shows "Independent fingerprint environment enabled," and the IP proxy section displays the configured host + port.
The independent IP proxy configuration is now complete. All the traffic for this WhatsApp account will go through the independent IP you have configured.
