How to back up on Android?
1. Open WhatsApp and tap the three dots in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Go to Settings and select Chats.
3. Tap Chat Backup, then tap Back Up Now.
4. You can also set a backup frequency by selecting the Back up to Google Drive option and choosing the frequency of backup.

How to back up on iPhone/iPad?
1. Open WhatsApp and go to Settings.
2. Tap Chats, then select Chat Backup.
3. Tap Back Up Now to start the backup process.
4. You can also enable Auto Backup to set up automatic backups.

How to transfer backups from Android to iPhone?
To transfer WhatsApp chat history from an Android phone to an iPhone, you can use the "Move to iOS" app.
Specific operations
1. Open the "Transfer to iOS" app on your Android phone and follow the on-screen prompts.
2. A code will be displayed on your iPhone. When prompted, enter the code on your Android phone.
3. Click "Continue" and follow the on-screen prompts to select WhatsApp on the "Transfer Data" screen. Click "Start" on your Android phone and wait for WhatsApp to prepare the data to be exported. After the data is prepared, log out from your Android phone.
4. Click "Next" to return to the "Transfer to iOS" app, click "Continue" to transfer the data to your iPhone, and then wait for the transfer to complete.
5. Install the latest version of WhatsApp from the App Store, open WhatsApp and log in. When prompted, click "Start" and wait for completion. After activation is completed on the new device, you can view the chat history.
Notes
· The new device must be running iOS WhatsApp version 2.22.10.70 or higher.
· The old device must be running Android WhatsApp version 2.22.7.74 or higher.
· The iPhone must be either new or reset to factory settings.
· Both devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network, or the Android phone should be connected to the iPhone’s hotspot.

How to restore chat history after deletion?
If you accidentally deleted your WhatsApp chat and want to recover it, you can do this (if you have a backup):
1. Uninstall WhatsApp from your phone.
2. Re-download and install WhatsApp and verify your phone number.
3. During the verification process, WhatsApp will prompt us to restore the chat history.
4. Click "Restore" to recover deleted chat history from backup.
